Please, let me introduce myself.  I am Madam Trillian (42!) of the Dark Ones.  I have the distinct pleasure of having been accepted as the Chairman of DarkCon 2019.  As you can imagine, I was astonished when I was granted a position that is normally held by a man, usually of station.  Perhaps this is a sign of things to come as we encroach upon the fruition of the 19th century.

My purpose as Chair of DarkCon 2019 is to provide all attendees with a venue that entertains and piques their interests.  With this consideration, I have chosen a theme that I hope will find attendees at the end of the event reeling with sense of joie de vivre.

Additionally, I am blessed with a prodigious staff of volunteers whose talents and expertise will produce a fantastic and memorable convention for all who participate.

I look forward to making the acquaintance of every member while at the convention.
